Thank you for your interest in Arts Programming on WKCR!

My radio programming alternates poetry, fiction, new music and radio drama in a choreographed, artistic presentation that transforms the written word into engaging cultural programming. 

I am recording poets and writers on an on-going basis for possible inclusion in future shows in the Arts Department on WKCR.  My shows are assigned each month; in general I have at least two per month.  If your work is selected, I will inform you what date it will air.


 The basic guidelines include:

•    All forms of writing and audio submissions welcome:           fiction, non-fiction, poetry, dramatic, etc.
•    3,500 word MAXIMUM for all submissions, or a   recording of 20 minutes or under.
•    Obscenities (four letter variety) edited out.
•    Please send exactly what you plan to read for your              recording.

Please be advised that a recording does not guarantee airtime on WKCR, although we try to work in all usable material.

WKCR is a non-profit radio station; in airing your material we claim only usage rights for the specific purpose of a radio broadcast.
